Special R&D and Testing Laboratory for Aerogel Coatings
Our laboratory is a dedicated platform for core technology research, formula iteration, process calibration and physical & chemical performance testing of enterprise aerogel coatings. It focuses on the full-range technical research of nano-aerogel composite thermal insulation coatings, high-temperature resistant protective coatings and functional energy-saving coatings.

Four major experimental modules including standardized physicochemical analysis, coating preparation, working condition simulation and performance evaluation have been established in the laboratory. It is fully equipped with precision instruments such as gas chromatograph, particle size analyzer, thermal conductivity tester, high-low temperature alternating test chamber, flame retardancy tester, salt spray testing machine and adhesion tester. We conduct basic formula research including aerogel powder modification, base material compounding, additive compatibility and system dispersion stability optimization.

Meanwhile, quantitative testing and verification on key indicators are carried out in accordance with national and industrial standards, covering thermal conductivity, temperature resistance limit, fire rating, aging resistance, acid and alkali resistance, mechanical properties and construction adaptability of coatings.

Our technical team consists of professionals engaged in polymer materials, inorganic nanomaterials, fine chemical engineering and coating engineering. We carry out special research to solve industrial technical difficulties such as aerogel agglomeration, poor system compatibility, insufficient mechanical strength of coatings and attenuation of long-term thermal insulation performance.

The laboratory undertakes formula optimization of general products, customized coating development for specific working conditions, calibration of production process parameters, full-item factory inspection of finished products, failure analysis and technical improvement. A closed-loop management covering raw material characterization, lab test, pilot test and mass production technology implementation is realized.

With rigorous experimental systems and rich technical experience, we continuously improve the thermal insulation efficiency, temperature resistance range, service life and comprehensive application performance of aerogel coatings.
